Monose is a minimal portfolio template for architects and interior designers who want their work to speak first. The homepage opens with a full-height hero photograph of a warm-toned residential interior, overlaid with a centered tagline about spaces shaped by light and material. The palette is almost entirely neutral: white, soft grays, and the natural tones of the project photography. The typeface is Bdogrotesk, set in a clean, modern weight that stays out of the way. A simple horizontal navigation bar anchors the top, and the homepage scrolls through an about section, a selected projects grid, and a process breakdown with three numbered steps: meeting, discovery, and concept and planning.
The template includes a projects page that displays a grid of portfolio items, each linking to a project detail page. The demo shows residential and commercial work labeled with names like Warm Lines Residence, Frame Workspace, and Studio Neue HQ. The project grid uses large images with minimal captions underneath. The process section walks through each step with descriptive paragraphs, and an about page and contact page round out the structure. We like the restraint here: the CMS setup makes it straightforward to add or edit projects, and the layout keeps the focus on the photography.
On mobile, the layout stacks cleanly. The hero text remains centered and readable at 390 pixels, and the navigation collapses to a menu toggle. The project images scale down without cropping awkwardly, and the process section keeps its numbered headings legible. The template suits studios with strong, cohesive photography that doesn't need embellishment. The limitation is that the sparse layout leans heavily on the quality of your images. If your portfolio photos are inconsistent in tone or resolution, the minimal structure will expose that immediately.
