BestWebsiteTemplate.com is an independent website template curation and review platform. We cover Webflow templates, Framer templates, and Shopify themes. We've reviewed more than 10,000 of them and published 1,005, each with a Design Score and a Dev Score so buyers can compare options before purchasing from the original creator.
We are not a marketplace. We do not sell templates or take commission on purchases. We link to the original purchase page on Webflow, Framer, or Shopify when you choose a template. Every template card plays a screen recording of that template's full homepage, so you can compare dozens of templates without opening a single external tab.
A Team That Got Tired of Wasting Time
We built this because we kept running into the same problem: templates that looked great in marketing screenshots but fell apart the moment you actually used them. Bad code, broken responsiveness, CMS setups that made no sense.
So we built a library where every template is independently reviewed before it's listed. We're not a marketplace. We don't take commission. We don't have a quota to fill. We add templates when we find ones worth adding.
Curators. Not a Store, Not an Aggregator.
Most template directories list everything and filter nothing. We do the opposite. Our library is small by design. Every template in it has been reviewed by multiple designers and developers who build websites for a living and reached a consensus that it was worth your time.
Our credibility depends entirely on being honest and specific. If something has a limitation, we say so. If something is exceptional in a particular area, we explain exactly why.
Over 10,000 Templates Reviewed, 1,005 Published
Our team has reviewed more than 10,000 Webflow templates, Framer templates, and Shopify themes. 1,005 of them are in the library today: 349 for Webflow, 434 for Framer, and 222 for Shopify. That's under 11% of everything we've looked at.
The rest didn't reach 7.0 Overall. Plenty of what we turn down looks fine in a marketplace screenshot. The problems show up once you open it: spacing that falls apart at tablet width, CMS collections that are really hard-coded placeholders, a mobile menu that feels like an afterthought. A bestseller with those problems stays out. A template from a creator nobody has heard of gets in if the work holds up.
That filter is the whole point. A library with every template in it would save you nothing, because you'd still have to do the checking yourself.
Every Homepage, Playing Right on the Card
We screen-recorded the full homepage of every template in the library, top to bottom, from its live demo site. The recording plays as a muted loop on the template card itself. On desktop it starts when the card is in view and whenever your cursor is over it, and a scrub bar under the card lets you jump straight to the pricing section or the footer. On a phone, the card in the middle of your screen plays as you scroll.
We built it because of how template shopping actually goes. You open a demo in a new tab, wait for it to load, scroll to see whether the rest of the page lives up to the hero, close it, and do it again. Twenty templates means twenty tabs. In our template library you can rule most of them out without a single click, then open the two or three that deserve a closer look.
The recordings are real footage of each template's homepage, not screenshots and not a mock-up. When one catches your eye, the template page has both scores and the details, and the Visit button takes you to the live demo.
How We Score Templates
Every template in our library gets two independent scores, each out of 10. These aren't algorithmic. Multiple team members independently review each template and assign their own scores. The published Design Score and Dev Score are the averaged result of those assessments. Read the full rubric on our scoring methodology page.
Design Score
Visual quality, typography choices, layout hierarchy, spacing, colour use, and overall aesthetic consistency. Does it look like something a professional would be proud to ship?
Dev Score
Code quality, responsiveness across breakpoints, CMS implementation, performance, component structure, and how well it's built to be customised.
Overall Score
The average of the Design Score and the Dev Score, shown on every template card. We only list templates with an Overall Score of 7.0 or above. Anything below that threshold is not published, regardless of how popular it is on its original marketplace.

Our scores come from real people, not an anonymous panel. The same 11 professionals review every template in the library: 6 designers who score the design and 5 developers who score the build.
