Esme is a studio site built around its founder, and the hero makes that personal from the first second. A single portrait card sits in the center, captioned with the founder's name and title, while a neon yellow handwritten signature sweeps across its corner and a huge pale grey wordmark drifts behind it. The header is split into calm columns: the logo, a two-line "Digital Agency Based in London" tag, Home, Work, and About in the middle, and Contact on the far right.
Jacob Nielsen gives the rest of the homepage a clean, product-design feel in Aspekta. Projects run as full-width image bands, each with the name on the left and View Project on the right, so a bentwood chair, a VR headset, and a synth device scroll past like a lookbook. A services section opens with "This Is What We Do" set big and bold, a short intro on the left, and a list of disciplines such as 3D visualization on the right. The Work page reuses the oversized pale wordmark idea with "Works", then lists every case study under an All Case Studies label with the year range on the right, in a two-column grid.
On a phone, the portrait and signature stay intact, the footer line with Scroll to Explore follows, and a bold intro paragraph sets out what the studio does.
We'd pick Esme for small 3D, product, and digital design studios where the founder is the brand. A team-led agency would need to rethink the portrait hero, and the yellow signature is the only accent color, so it has to work with your logo. The pale background lettering is decorative only, so keep the real headings strong.
