Clark is a Webflow portfolio template by JP built around a modular design system. The homepage opens with oversized type set in Generalsans: "Go beyond the bounds of the website templates." Below that sits a clean grid of preview cards labeled by variant, from home white to features dark to home colorful. Each card shows a thumbnail of a different layout option. The palette shifts across the variants, from stark white and black to pastel coral, mint, and violet blocks. The type stays bold and large throughout, with portraits often set into rounded cutouts that interrupt the letterforms. One about page shows the heading "My name is Will Clark, creative designer" with two portrait ovals breaking into the text.
The URL paths show CMS collections for homes, features, and home-color variants, giving you a library of starting points rather than a single fixed layout. The variants give you light, dark, and colorful options, each with its own feature layouts. A minimal chrome approach keeps just a wordmark in the top left and a menu button in the top right. We like the typographic confidence and the way the portraits interact with the letterforms, though the effect depends entirely on having strong, well-cropped photos.
The mobile view keeps the bold type and the circular portrait treatment intact. The heading stacks naturally and the menu button stays accessible. The layout simplifies to a single column without losing the graphic punch.
We'd pick Clark for designers, agencies, or creative professionals who want a portfolio that puts type and layout front and center. The modular approach gives you flexibility, but success depends on supplying strong portraits and project images. The template's minimal chrome leaves no room to hide weak photography.
