Craft is Shopify's theme for makers of handmade and home goods, and the demo sets it up as a ceramics and tableware brand with a calm, editorial tone. There is no big hero photo. Instead, a centered serif line in Trirong introduces the shop on a warm off-white page, with a geometric star logo and a short Dinnerware, Glassware, Serveware, Flatware, Textiles, and Bundles menu above it. A dark green bar at the very top points visitors to bundled collections.
The homepage opens straight into a collage of collection cards: tall shots of glassware on a stack of books, linen napkins beside a white plate, and close-ups of bowls and spoons, each with a thin bordered caption and an arrow. The Details Matter is a wide video panel of hands lifting a stamped bowl, followed by a short belief statement and customer quotes set in large serif type. Discover Our Bundled Collections pairs a candlelit table setting with two smaller tiles, then a row of hand-drawn icons for design, pricing, sourcing, and giving back. From the Magazine shows blog cards with dates in small caps, and a dark green newsletter band closes the page. The Bundles collection page adds filters for availability, price, and type, a sort menu, and soft gray product shots.
On a phone, the opening line wraps neatly over a few lines and the collection cards pair up in two columns before going full width.
We'd pick Craft for ceramicists, homeware studios, and small makers who want their photography and story to carry the shop. Without a hero image, the page relies on strong collection photos from the start. The demo bowl is stamped with a real brand name, so replace that video and imagery with your own.
