Smooth is a compact one-page portfolio for a product or web designer, made in Framer by Akim. The hero is a friendly introduction set in Fraunces, a soft serif, with little app icons dropped into the middle of the sentence and the last words fading to gray. A glossy orange Book a Short Call button sits under it, a row of client logos follows, and a field of tiny orange pixels scatters along the bottom of the card. The whole page is built from rounded white cards stacked on a dark frame, which gives it a tidy, app-like feel.
Scrolling down, Featured Projects shows large case study cards with device mockups on bright gradient backgrounds, and a small toggle in the corner switches between grid and list views. A testimonial with a portrait between two laurel sprigs follows, then an about card pairing a few paragraphs and skill tags with a tall fashion portrait. Experience lists companies, roles and years in neat rows, and My Stack shows the tools as icon cards with arrows. It all ends on a full-width photo of pink clouds with an invitation to book a call. Each project opens a page with year, client and link details above a big hero image. We like the floating pill navigation with Resume, Linkedin and Email Me: it stays put while you scroll and covers everything a recruiter needs.
On a 390px phone the intro card gains a small location tag with a photo, the headline wraps over six lines, and the logos settle into a two-by-two grid.
We'd pick Smooth for a freelance product designer who wants to get a portfolio live quickly. Keep in mind that it's a single page: there's no blog or separate about page, so longer writing or a fuller story will need new pages.
Based on the live demo, viewed on desktop and on a phone. The Design and Dev scores come from separate independent reviews. See how we score templates.
