Forty is a single-event landing page built for birthday parties, anniversaries, or small celebrations. The hero pairs a large serif numeral (40) with a simple statement (Celebrating Maria) and a date, set against a warm beige background. Below that sits a full-width photograph of someone outdoors, arms spread, with a circular badge logo in the corner. The palette is soft cream, blush pink accents, and dark text, and the type mixes Hedvig Letters Serif for display with a clean sans for body copy. The design feels personal and unhurried, like a printed invitation translated to the web.
The demo includes four sections after the hero: The Evening (a vertical timeline with hand-drawn icons for dinner and dancing), Location (a map image, address, and travel notes for train and parking), FAQ (a two-column layout with questions about dress code, gifts, plus-ones, and food), and a reply form with name, email, and dietary notes fields. The timeline uses small illustrations of a pasta plate and a dancing figure, both in a loose line-art style that matches the logo. Scroll animations ease elements into view, and the FAQ pairs questions on the left with answers on the right. We like the balance between warmth and clarity, the FAQ section is especially practical for managing guest expectations.
On a 390px screen, the layout stacks cleanly. The large numeral scales down, the timeline runs vertically, and the FAQ questions sit above their answers. The form fields remain full-width and the fixed call-to-action button (I want to come!) floats at the bottom.
We'd pick Forty for a personal milestone event where you want one polished page that handles RSVP and logistics. The limitation is obvious: it's a single-use template with no blog, no project pages, and no room for multiple events. If you're hosting more than one occasion or need a portfolio site, you'll need to adapt or look elsewhere.
