Modus Light is a free Webflow template for architecture, interior design, and professional service firms. The homepage opens with a full-screen hero that overlays large headings, "Redefining spaces, shaping bold futures", against a soft white background divided by vertical lines. The type is Space Grotesk throughout, set in a deep navy that contrasts with generous white space. Below the hero, three color-blocked cards in navy and bright orange invite visitors to explore projects, services, and contact, each with a short description and a button. The palette is restrained: navy, white, and that single orange accent.
NutsDev built the demo with about, projects, services, and contact pages. The projects section uses Webflow CMS to display case studies, and the detail page for Knowledge Commons Library shows project metadata (location, type of work, completion date, square footage) alongside large architectural photography and pill-shaped tags. The homepage includes a logo grid for client trust markers and two side-by-side call-to-action panels with gradient overlays on architectural photos. We like the clean project detail layout, which gives each case study room to breathe with a left-aligned text column and a dominant image on the right.
On mobile, the hero stacks neatly with the heading and body text filling the width above the call-to-action button. The three-card section becomes a vertical list, and the navy background holds up well at 390 pixels. Navigation collapses into a menu toggle.
We'd pick Modus Light for a small firm that wants a professional portfolio without spending on a premium template. The limitation is the reliance on high-quality architectural or interior photography: the layout gives images a lot of weight, so you'll need strong visuals to match the clean structure.
