Basics lives up to its name. It's a Shopify theme by Noord, demoed as a casual menswear and streetwear store, and the whole thing runs on white, pale gray and black, with the bold BASICS wordmark centered in the header and headings set in Syne over DM Sans body text. The hero is a split slideshow: copy on a light gray panel to the left, "No Trends Just Direction" in one slide, and a bright photo of a model against blue sky on the right.
The homepage is short and shop-first. Latest Arrivals shows four products on soft gray tiles, then two dark promo cards sit side by side, then a Shop by Categories photo grid. An about block pairs a large photo with four small value cards. Most Popular, a full-width blue banner for new arrivals, an FAQ accordion, a big sale countdown banner, a journal row and a newsletter signup round it out. The product page has breadcrumbs, size buttons with a size guide link, a quantity stepper, both Add to Cart and Buy It Now, a green stock badge and pickup availability. We like how quiet the product cards are: a vendor label, a name, a price and color dots, nothing fighting the clothes.
On a 390px phone the hero photo moves above the headline, both buttons stay side by side, and the header trims down to a menu icon, the logo, search and cart.
We'd pick Basics for a small apparel label with a focused range and good on-model photography. One thing to settle early: the homepage carries a Black Friday countdown banner and the colorful lifestyle shots supply all of the energy, so with flat product photos alone the site will feel very plain.
