Unframed is a Framer template by Svaco for a painter who wants to sell originals straight from their own site. It opens quietly: a warm off-white page, a short italic line about hand-painted works you can buy directly from the artist, and then the artist's name stretched across the full width in tall italic Instrument Serif. Below the name, a wide still life of a rabbit beside a jug of dried flowers bleeds off both edges.
The homepage reads like a short gallery catalog. A Why Me block makes the case for buying direct in a large italic quote, with three short reasons about one-off originals, no middlemen and slow work. Selected Paintings follows as a two-column grid where each canvas sits on a white mat, labeled with its title, size, medium and price. Then an About section pairs a studio photo with a line about the next exhibition opening, and the footer keeps contact details and social links small. The paintings page is the same matted grid, just longer. We like the white mats: every image reads like a framed piece on a wall rather than a product thumbnail.
On a 390px phone the italic intro wraps over three lines, the name shrinks to fit one line, and the still life drops in full width beneath it.
We'd pick Unframed for an independent painter or illustrator with a small body of finished, available work. Worth knowing before you buy: the menu stays tucked behind an icon even on a wide screen, and the exhibition date in the About section is the kind of line you'll need to keep current.
