KOKORO is a Framer template by Kota for architecture and interior design studios, and its first screen is pure typography. The studio name spans the full width in black Marcellus, a flared, chiseled serif, and "Design Studio" is written across it in a gold script that loops through the letters. The page is a soft warm grey, with a short location and years note in the bottom left, a Buy This as a Template link at the top right, and the menu stacked vertically in the lower right corner, the current page underlined and the rest in pale grey.
Scrolling down, a Featured Works label turns sideways beside a tall photo of a timber-beamed hall, and the projects play out as large centered images with their names, from a residence to a set of ocean villas. A huge "Environments that uplift our existence" statement in Marcellus leads into a band of sunlit interior photos that runs edge to edge, then the Magazine section sets article titles as a clean list with dates on the right, under a script "Thoughts" flourish. A full-bleed shot of a sauna facing the sea brings the page to a centered closing line about bringing life to space. The site also has a dark mode, the same layout in charcoal with white and gold type. The About page repeats the hero trick with a large serif statement about the firm and "The stories" in script.
On a phone, the wordmark and script scale down together, the menu becomes a single Menu link, and the first project photo fills the screen.
We'd pick KOKORO for architects, interior designers, and boutique property developers with warm, well-lit photography. The script overlay needs short words to stay legible, so we'd keep any replacement captions brief.
