Grove is a one-screen showreel for video-led agencies and production studios, and it is about as stripped back as a site can get. There is no scrolling homepage at all. A blue square logo with a wireframe globe sits top left beside Grove and a grey Digital Agency label, a two-line hamburger sits top right, and a single sentence in Switzer introduces the studio, with design-focused digital agency picked out in black against the soft grey of the rest. Under it, a row of wide video tiles runs straight across the page and off the right edge.
That row is the whole site. Each tile plays a short clip, from a runner in a bright orange jacket against a rock wall to a hand holding coloured gemstones and a laughing woman on a blue backdrop. Captions are small and tidy: the project name in black, then the disciplines in grey brackets, like Scriptwriting, Motion, and 3D. A tiny copyright line and abbreviated social links fill the footer. Click a tile and the project page from Jamik turns the video full bleed, sets the title in large white type at the lower left, and adds a small project number and client label along the bottom edge.
On a phone, the row becomes a single column of stacked clips with captions underneath, and the intro sentence stays crisp at the top.
We'd pick Grove for directors, motion studios, and small film agencies whose clips can speak without much copy. With no about, services, or contact sections on the homepage, all of that lives behind the menu, so we'd check that it covers what clients expect. And because the design is almost entirely video, it only works if you have strong footage for every tile.
