Balsakstudio is a portfolio for a studio that would rather show one striking image than explain itself. The homepage is essentially an interactive index. A full-screen render of a chrome chain and crumpled metal fills the background, and a stack of project names in uppercase grotesque runs down the center, with the active one, Stellarum, in bright white and the rest dimmed to grey. Next to it, a tiny caption lists the field, services and year. The header is three small words in the corners: a copyright line on the left, a short tagline in the middle, and Menu on the right.
Satto.studio keeps the structure very short. Scroll a little and a black footer slides up over the image. The left side holds the full menu in large white caps, Home, Works, About, Service, Journal, Contact and Archive, and the right side shows a live clock with a street address, a quiet "Keen to work with us?" line and the studio email set big. The project page for Stellarum opens on black with the title in large caps, a neat Field, Service and Year table on the right, and a wide image below, plus a small floating About pill.
On a phone, the background image disappears and the homepage becomes a plain list of project names in white on black, under the copyright line and Menu link.
We'd pick Balsakstudio for art directors, 3D artists and small studios whose work is image-led and want a gallery-like front door. It only works with a strong lead image for every project, and visitors on phones see just a text list, so make the project names intriguing. Proofread the project captions too, since a service label in the demo carries a spelling slip.
