Aubrey is a portfolio for a small design studio, and it keeps almost everything in black, white, and grey. The hero is a centered statement in Inter Tight Medium, "We are a London based digital studio working to create unique experiences worldwide," with a quiet Scroll to explore cue underneath. Then comes a wide photo of two people in white t-shirts against a pale wall, one in focus and one blurred in the foreground, which sets a calm, editorial tone. The header holds the Aubrey wordmark, then Work, About, Services, and a soft grey Get in touch pill.
Slate Department keeps the homepage short. A brief studio intro sits in the right half of the page with a small More about us link. Featured Work follows as a two-column grid of large project images, each captioned in three plain lines: client and project, a short tagline, and a grey discipline label like Brand Identity. The demo projects are mostly mockups, such as a business card on speckled stone and a dark SUV under studio light. A closing prompt, "Ready to bring your ideas to life?", leads into a footer with simple Links and Social columns. The Works page repeats the grid under an All Works heading with a small superscript count.
On a phone, the headline wraps to centered lines, the menu becomes a text Menu link, and the photo and intro stack neatly with generous white space.
We'd pick Aubrey for branding studios, freelance designers, and small agencies whose work photographs well in neutral tones. Because the layout is so plain, your project imagery carries the whole site, and weak or clashing shots will show. A few demo images also include real product branding, so replace them with your own work before launch.
