Mosaic is a preset of Krown Themes' Borders theme, dressed here as an online shop for a single painter. It has real attitude. The whole page sits inside a thin black outline on a warm putty grey, and the hero is nothing but type: stacked slogans like "Convey emotions, ideas & perspectives" in tall condensed black capitals that appear as you scroll, ending on "Get some (art)" and a long hand-drawn arrow pointing down. The header is a boxed bar with a scribbled signature logo on the left and square cells for search, the cart, and a hamburger menu on the right.
The Artworks grid follows, with thin vertical rules between portrait-format paintings and small capitals for each title and price, plus a round orange badge on sale pieces and an outlined View All Products button. An artist statement fills the screen in giant capitals with the name set in italics, then a row of four ruled columns explains Handmade, Original, Framed or Rolled, and Insurance. The page then switches to near-black for a Get Regional feature on local art and a Past Exhibitions list, where each show title and date runs across the page in huge type. The product page keeps the outline and puts a large painting beside a big condensed title, the price, rounded pills for size and medium, and a black pill Add to Cart button.
On a phone, the boxed header holds together and the slogans wrap into short stacked lines, though the gaps between them make for a long scroll before any artwork appears.
We'd pick Mosaic for painters, illustrators, and small galleries selling original work. The demo artist name and statement need replacing throughout. The type-only hero also delays the art on small screens, so consider trimming the slogans.
