Blockshop is Troop Themes' minimalist Shopify theme, shown here as a beauty store, and it reads more like a gallery than a shop. Instead of a top menu, a narrow column of tiny uppercase links sits down the left side: Shop, New, Trending, and About Us, then language and region, then Bag, Search, and Account. The homepage opens with just two large images side by side, a sunlit skin close-up and a rose gold lipstick, labeled Skincare and Makeup in big, bold uppercase Inter.
Troop keeps the rest of the page sparse and confident. Best Sellers runs as a clean row of packshots on white with small uppercase names and prices, followed by a new collection announcement with a short paragraph and a wide outlined button. Three editorial tiles for Sustainability, Our Story, and Ingredients give the brand room to talk about itself, and there's a slot for a press quote. Product pages carry the same restraint: thumbnails down the left, including one marked for a 3D view, the brand name above a bold uppercase title, a Hurry, Only 3 Items Left line with a progress bar, outlined Add to Bag and Buy It Now buttons, store pickup details, and accordions for ingredients and results.
On a phone, the sidebar becomes a slim top bar with menu, search, logo, account, and bag, and the two category images stack into a simple column.
We'd pick Blockshop for skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance brands with a small, beautifully shot catalog. That minimalism leans heavily on uppercase: the sidebar links are very small and product descriptions are set in capitals, which gets hard to read in long passages. We'd switch body text to sentence case.
