BASELANE is a near-black studio site for branding and digital agencies that like to sound scientific about design. The opening screen plays a dark, grainy video behind the studio name, which runs edge to edge in thin white Switzer capitals. Under it, four numbered services (branding, web design, product design, creative strategy) sit in four columns, framed by faint vertical rules and small plus marks like crop marks on a print sheet. A short studio line sits at the bottom left, with round client avatars and a scroll cue on the right.
Fahlevi keeps that four-column grid running through the whole homepage, which gives a very long page order. A big spaced-out Obsessions heading leads into a diamond diagram, with four research themes at its points and a short explanation that changes in the middle as you scroll. Project showcases layer a full-bleed photo behind a smaller cropped image, with the project name, a short summary, and a discipline tag. Then come numbered service panels, a results block that pairs before and after figures with a product photo, client testimonials with small headshots, pricing, an FAQ and a contact section. The Studio page opens with THE STUDIO in the same giant type, a header that shows the city, a local clock, and an email address, and a short manifesto in the corner.
On a phone, the video turns vertical, the name still spans the full width, and the services stack into a neat numbered list above the intro line.
We'd pick BASELANE for strategy-led agencies with real case studies and numbers to show. It's a long homepage, so trim sections you can't fill. The demo copy leans hard on claims and invented metrics, and the testimonial names are placeholders, so replace all of it with your own before launch.
Based on the live demo, viewed on desktop and on a phone. The Design and Dev scores come from separate independent reviews. See how we score templates.
